I have been in private practice as a counsellor and psychotherapist since 1998. During this time I have also had experience in community mental health and the facilitation of men's stopping violence programmes. I was a Family Court appointed counsellor for many years.
My areas of specialty include working with couples, anger management, relationship and communication issues, separation and divorce, domestic violence and abuse in its various manifestations, grief and loss and issues of depression, anxiety, self-esteem, men's issues, parenting and step-parenting, trauma and post traumatic stress.
My other interests are my family (and grandchildren), surfing, fishing, walking and sitting in the sun with a cup of tea doing absolutely nothing (rarely achieved).
Qualifications:
Graduate Diploma of Psychotherapy.
